Plessy v. Ferguson Commemoration
Before it was appealed to the United States Supreme Court and became
the landmark "separate but equal" Plessy v. Ferguson
decision (later overturned by Brown vs. Board of
Education), the case of Homer Plessy's arrest for riding in the
wrong segregated rail car was argued and decided in the Sala Capitular
of the Cabildo.
